This trophy was presented to Arthur Pillman, Team Manager, after winning the 1960 9 Hour Race at Grand Central Race Track. After the Award Ceremony Arthur Pillman handed the trophy over to Al Gibson, to thank him for all the hard work that was put into the 550 Spyder. This was the last year that the race was held at Grand Central and also the first 9 Hour Race that Dawie Gous/John Love won in this very successful 550 Spyder.
